Native American Organizations Doing Amazing Work

Women’s Earth Alliance – Women’s Earth Alliance (WEA) envisions a world in which women are empowered, communities thrive, and the Earth regenerates. Their mission is to catalyze women-led, grassroots solutions to protect our environment. This is a previous recipient of FBC funds!

Native Women Lead – Their mission is to revolutionize systems and inspire innovation by investing in Native Women in business. They do this by co-creating with and convening their community to build coalition while honoring their culture, creativity and connections.

Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance – This women-led organization supports Native communities nationally with advocacy, education, and networking as they revitalize their indigenous food systems.

Kalauokekahuli – Their mission is to breath new life into traditional and cultural practices in order to overturn the negative birth and postpartum outcomes that Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander women and babies currently face in Hawaiʻi.

The Aleut Foundation – The Aleut Foundation has a mission to support the economic and social needs of the Aleut people with scholarships for post-secondary education, career development and burial assistance for shareholders and descendants of The Aleut Corporation (TAC).
